Faith Communities Mini-Conference

Sponsored by Trinity Baptist Church, Emily Colson brings her story about her son, Max, a young adult with autism, and the spiritual journey she continues to experiences. Emily will speak on "Equipping the Church to meet the growing needs of the Autism Community". Plan to attend this inspirational and educational half day mini-conference that will explore the ministry opportunities to the increasing population of families and individuals living with autism. Along with Emily, we welcome, Kim Newgass from ASCONN, Connecticut's leading autism support organization with an award-winning workshop "Autism 101 for Faith Based Communities". This session will cover specific information about Autism Spectrum Disorders, creating inclusive programming for individuals of all ages and promoting support of families impacted by autism.
