Yad B'Yad Inclusion Summer Camp

Yad B'Yad (Hand in Hand: An inclusion based, therapeutic summer camp). Yad B'Yad, a division of O-La-Mi, offers a unique summer camp program for rising 4th graders with communication-spectrum disorders includeing high functioning autism, Asperger's, ADD/ADHD and individuals with sensory motor challenges. The mission of the program is to improve each child's ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with peers and to build a solid foundation for making and keeping friends within a relaxed, fun and creative environment. The camp day includes morning therapy sessions and an afternoon inclusion program to reinforce what was learned and help build social connections. Trained clinicians from the Child Guidance Center of Souther CT along with specialized staff from the JCC will be facilitating the program. Two two week sessions end of July and early August.
