Complementary Therapies
Complementary Therapies are often used in addition to behavioral or developmental interventions. They generally target specific developmental issues relating to the nervous system and growth of a child with autism. Mostly sensory-based, these therapies can help improve nervous system functioning, sensory integration, motor planning and muscle movement issues that are often present in people with autism.
